I kinda like to make a big deal about holidays and Valentine's is no exception. Since our girls need literally nothing, we opted for Valentine's balloons for them in the morning and a package of chocolates...
and I guess they liked them :)
Mae made this Valentine's mailbox to take to preschool and went with a "Bee" Mine theme and she was pretty thrilled with how it turned out and all the Valentine's she got from her friends at school.
Later that day, Mae got invited to go to a Princess Tea Party with some friends from our ward. Since Lu and Em couldn't go I decided to have a tea party ourselves. We served hot dogs, chips and sprite...super healthy!
And we even broke out the fine china...(chip enjoyed himself almost as much as we did)
Later that night, in leu of a date (and a babysitter), Coby and I decided to stay in with our Valentine's and have a date night all together. We made heart-shaped pizzas and the girls were "in love" with this idea!
I had LOTS of help making the pizzas :)
Lu was especially excited about this whole thing...that smile can melt your heart any day!
The gang and our finished pizzas of love!
Later after dinner, when the girls were eating their Valentine cookies from Nana and Papa, tragedy struck. Daddy, always teasing, pushed Mae's cookie in her face. And she was DEVASTATED! It took her a good 10 minutes to calm down and then....
it became a huge joke! Mae got daddy back and then the other two just had to join in on the fun!
One of the best Valentine's Day ever! Love these people with all my <3 (heart)!
