Birthday Pix!

Getting ready for Emme and Lucy's upcoming birthday invites I broke out the actual camera instead of just my phone and took some real pictures of the girls.

It was a little bit of work to get a few of Emme as she does not hold still AT ALL, but luckily I am quick and snapped away to get these ones.

This was probably the first time Lucy ever really cooperated getting her pictures taken--and she was having a blast!  It might be that I bribed her with a new shirt and boots I had gotten her for school...I am sneaky that way!

Mae always loves the camera and does not want to be left out, so I snapped a few of all three of my girls together and I truly LOVE these ones.  How I got so lucky to be their mom I will never know, but I am so grateful for that blessing!

They fill my life with such happiness!

More Summer Lovin'

More pictures from our amazing summer!

Dinosaur Museum...again with my girls!

This is Lu by 5:00 every day this summer...she looked like an ORPHAN!  Covered in dirt, hair a mess and sometimes even naked...oh dear!

The girls have taken to sleeping in Coby and mine's old thrift store shirts...and Emme is constantly walking around in someone else's shoes...Sometimes she is too cute to even scold!

Gotta love snuggle time with these girls!

Daddy and Lu OUT LIKE A LIGHT!  Summer is not for the weak!

Day at the Salon!

For Kenna's birthday this year, she decided she wanted a day at the salon and my girls were more than thrilled to be invited to go with!  All the girls gathered together and we headed down to the hair school here in town for makeovers.  Each girl got her hair, toes and fingernails done.

Lu was a little timid at first (especially of the lady with the pierced nose and black dreads she got assigned too), but quickly armed up after she got her fingers painted!  She looked so dang cute all gussied up and all the girls at the school kept "oohing and aahing" over her white hair and dark, long eyelashes...Oh, if only we were all so blessed :)

Mae was in absolute heaven getting all beautified.  When we got there, I had done her hair in a braid wrapped around to the other side of her head, and the girl took that out and then did THE EXACT SAME THING...weird!  Mae looked around at all the other big girls getting their hair curled and fancied and she felt so bad about it, that I being the sucker that I am for my girls, asked the girl assigned to Mae if she would mind curling her hair like the other girls...and then Mae was on cloud 9!

Emme was a little too young for any of it, but she kept saying "My turn!" so one of the girls starting touching her hair and sprayed it and then she was set and happy that she was not left out of the fun!

And here are all the girl cousins and the birthday girl all fancied up!  They all look pretty happy to me!
Thanks for a FUN party Kenna!  Happy birthday to you!

Uintah County Fair 2013

Every July the Fair comes to town and we always love to go!  There's not a lot to do here in Vernal, so when there is--we hit it hard!  The girls could go on  rides for HOURS, but mean mom and dad always have to put limitations on them!

There was a firetruck there and the girls and even Coby got a turn spraying the hose and got a fancy schmancy fire chief hat!  Lu wore her's straight for about two days!
What a BLAST at the fair!

Ogden Visit!

In July we made one more HOORAY and went to visit Ogden one more time before summer ended :(  We stayed for a little over a week and were constantly going, going, going!  We got to spend a lot of time with family and friends and had such a good time!  One day we got all the girl cousins together and went to the North Shore water Park in North Ogden and the girls ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!  Emme was a crazy person and had ZERO fear of the water!  Between the 3 of them we probably went down the slide in the kiddie pool at least 100 times!
What a bunch of cute cousins!

While we were there Mae, Lucy and I also  got to go to the drive-in and see Despicable Me 2 with all the Ogden cousins (Emme has a mean mom and went to bed early while a babysitter stayed with her).  The girls LOVED the show and even more LOVED having all the family around them and playing musical cars.
And I just loved being with my girls...no matter where we are!  Thanks Ogdenites for a fun visit!  It is a weird feeling to know that during the school year now that Mae will be in kindergarten we will have to be somewhat structured and not be able to do whatever we want...HOW RUDE!

Family Pix 2013

Much to Coby's dismay, it was that time again...FAMILY PICTURES!  It is always an adventure with the girls, but we survived!

Coby hates doing the pictures, but I think it is really important in documenting the growth and changes to our family!  Love these people with all my heart!
