Love a little fort time...

We have gotten into the habit thanks to our amazing daddy, to have special fort nights where Mae and Lu get to watch movies and sleep in their sleeping bags in an awesome fort--and it is about the highlight of their life!  They beg for it all the time, and we have had to ration it to special nights or they would NEVER sleep in their beds ;)

Poor little Em hasn't been able to sleep in it yet (because she just won't sleep at all and will tear down the fort, wander around and maybe, just maybe, drive her sisters a little crazy) BUT she has got to participate in the popcorn/movie part of the fort and was super excited to be one of the big girls!  Gotta love these little goofs!
I'm so thankful for these little smiles that brighten my day every day, and so grateful that my girls have the dad they have that takes the time to do these fun things with them and loves them so much!  I hope they realize just how lucky they are too!

MY BABY TURNS 2!!!

On August 15th my baby turned T-W-O!  I cannot believe how fast the time has gone since we brought this little, sweet full haired baby home from the hospital--and I'm so grateful for this little "joy" we have in our family!  She woke up ready to part-ay and we delivered :)  She loved being the center of attention and opening all her "prizes!"

Her sisters were so good to her and excited for her to open all her presents...

For her big present, we got her this Minnie Mouse couch that opens up to storage and I'd say from that face, that she liked it!

We had our traditional birthday morning breakfast with candles in her "faffle" and she was so cute and excited for us to sing happy birthday and blow out her candles.

Happy birthday to this little ham!  We love you so much it hurts baby!

Lagoon!

Last year we took Mae to Lagoon (or "the goon" as she called it) and Lu has been DYING to go ever since!  Both Mae and Lu LOVE rides and have NO FEAR so we were super excited when Lucy's birthday was getting close so we could take her and Mae together to Lagoon.

All of us had A BLAST-- even though mom and dad had to take a couple time outs from all the super swirly rides--which did phase our two girlies at all :)  I hate the girls are growing up so fast, but I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE being able to do these fun things with my big girls!  Can't wait til Em is big enough so she can joint us too!
