We are super awesome, so what do we do on someone's birthday? Let me sleep in and have a leisurely day? NO WAY!!! We wake them up early so we can start the festivities ASAP! Normally, she is not a morning person, but this day she did just fine.
We have our birthday morning tradition of waffle or whatever breakfast food with a candle in it...
And birthday hats! I love that sisters are always such good sports on each other birthdays. I swear they get just as excited (if not more) than the birthday girl.
Headphones...
and an IPOD for all of her Taylor Swift music!
Mae got a special delivery that day from Nana and Papa who were in North Dakota and couldn't make it home.
Later that day all us girls met at the salon to get super FANCY!
Everyone was able to get their fingernails, toenails and hair done and everyone had a BLAST!
Even cousin Miya (and Aspy) were able to drive down for the big shin-dig!
I'm really not sure if anyone was quite as excited as Emme. She held perfectly still while she got all gussied up and obviously was pretty happy that she got to be one of the big girls :) That smile!
After everyone was GORGEOUS, we had cake and ice cream....and PRESENTS!

And don't worry, the day wasn't over just yet....for dinner, Mae chose her favorite Chinese food--just like her mama!
Happy birthday to my beautiful sweet Mae! Can't believe it has been 6 years since we held her for the first time and instantly loved her more than we ever thought possible. Who would've known we would love her even more now?!! We love you and are so proud of you Mae-Mae girl :)
