The girls got all gussied up for their dance and tumbling recital and we were SO happy to have our family from Ogden here to watch!
Emme and her friend Adelaide did two dances, one ballet and one tap. The ballet one they did with their little stuffed horsey. Emme had been totally unpredictable at dance class all year, so I really had no idea how she would do up in front of all the people. Well, guess what, she LOVED it! She was such a little ham up there, posing and smiling that HUGE smile! At one point, while waiting for her dance to start, she did her own little tap dance for everyone. We were cracking up at our little funny girl!
Lu and Mae were in the same gymnastics class along with their cousin Averie and friend Riley. I knew Lu would be good at tumbling because she is so athletic, but I wasn't really sure how Mae would do, but she was such a beautiful tumbler! She is so long and thin and graceful. Her teachers asked me more than once if she danced because she was just so pretty out there. Lu was such a whirlwind, fast and powerful! With that shock of blonde hair, she just looked like a blur out there tumbling her little heart out!
I was so proud of all my girls! Made my heart swell to see them out there! With our family visiting and them doing so well, things definitely could not have been any better :)
